Now for the phones: Just out is the new Blackberry Flip cellphone. It is a hot new phone. It is 3.5 pds and is fully loaded with all your Blackberry needs. It is the clam-shell design and looking good. It is actually called the Black-Berry Smart-phone or the Black Berry Pearl 8220.  Ok, now if you have the i-phone 3G, take your phones electric plug in to your dealer for a trade, the one you have breaks so it is being recalled. In another new development there is the Android which is 3G's competition as it un-wraps tomorrow. It is a great new phone and developed with Google. It should be a hot phone, released by T-Mobile. Check it out, it should knock your socks off. It comes to NYC on Oct 21st and gives more selection for app builders and has less restrictions unlike i-phone. Android will be offered on several phones and the original has a physical pop out keyboard with 5 physical keys and a google map that shows where you are in relationship to your phone. What is amazing is that it will be about $179

The List for the most dangerous celebrities is out now in September. It names some top celebrities that if you search up their names, you will find dangerous links to their sites. Filled with malicious code and password stealing sites with worms galore. Brad Pitt was the top but Angelina Jolie was at # 11, Beyonce was second, Justin Timberlake 3rd, The hills star Heidi Montach 4th, Mariah Carey at 5, Jessica Alba was 6th, Lindsay Lohan 7th, the last 3 had spam, dangerous wallpaper downloads filled with code, & Spyware: 8 Cameron Diaz, 9 George Clooney, and finally at 10 Rihanna. The searches of these names brought up the most dangerous codes and downloadable virus's for your computer.  Be careful of sites connected to these names, most of the pop ups are even more dangerous so beware.  The list was compiled by McAfee Anti-Virus. 

Ok July is upon us, what is new in July? Well first lets be Private Detectives in our own Neighborhoods with some websites that are popping up called Crime Reports, and Spot Crime. Both of which give you about more crime stats  of what is happening in your neighborhood sometimes as it happens. So if you are moving and want to know what to watch out for and if you want to check out if there are sex offenders near you, you can find out. Local precincts nearest you sign up or can. Both are great strides in up to the minute crime and you can sign up for free email of crime stats as they happen.

Pc.com is great for laptop seekers to find the best laptop for Dad.  You can ask the experts for help.  It is in beta but good nonetheless. It is great for a Fathers day gift of a laptop for dad. A great gift for the father on the go.

For those if you do not know, G4 Presents, The World Television Premier of 'The King of Kong' gaming event.  It should be off the hook, for all those old gamers, brush off the game and try to try out for it. Ok now if you are a buying a product like a fridge or other product there is a new trend with the coupon clipping crowd. An alternative, using their phone. So what is the new trend, well if you have a i-Phone, Blackberry or web capable phone the trend is to bring your phone to Loews, or other stores and while there price comparison shop on your phone while in the store with the product that you want.  Show it to the sales person and getting the better price is done.  This is the hip new trend and cuts down on carrying a purse or wallet filled with coupons. Which may have been left at home.

Facebook is having to do damage control.  The website is still reeling after a Canadian computer technician found a loophole in their system.  The techie found that  he could access personal photos on other peoples pages. He started snooping around after the site had just introduced new ways for people to secure their personal pages. After being alerted to the problem, they fixed the problem with an hour or so, they have 67 million users. To add to the positive, Facebook bonded with Career Builders to create a Job recruiting network within the site. It is already being done with other sites with Career Builders and other sites like it with good success. 

The Apple i-Phone has a new hope for their new version of the i-Phone.  It will going after the Blackberry, trying to compete against them.  The new phone will be able to get emails, retrieve contacts &calendar events and be compatible to corporate email systems. Apples Steve Jobs is bringing the new phones in June.

Ever thought about how cool it would be to put down your video game controller and use your mind to play? Well, later this year Emotiv systems Inc., A new type controller will soon be unveiled. It controls the games through thoughts.  Yes, thoughts, it reads expressions and will be in the $300 range.  It is made by Emotiv Systems. EPOC neuro-headset that will allow you to play in virtual worlds with your brain rather than your hands. After you put the headset on your head, sensors detect your expressions and thoughts as well as some non-conscious emotions by the electric signals your brain gives out. Helping you to explore, push and pull things in the environment. What helps also is that the headset is wireless as well. Giving you free roaming and free thinking game play. The Emotive Development Kit (EDK), which includes a series of stylish head-mounted sensors, can identify facial expressions, measure emotions, and even differentiate between types of thoughts like "lift," "push" and "rotate." Ed Fries, who left his position as head of Microsoft's game division for more freedom, acts as director of Emotiv's board of directors. Again it is a neural headset, that uses sensors, to pick up expressions to read and play and goes on sale later this year.

Facebook will launch in Spanish, in a move to keep up with their rivals.  They launch in Feb, on Monday 11th.  Rival MySpace already has a Spanish site, Facebook had for now allowed customers to post in Spanish but with the new site dedicated to Spanish speaking people on the way it breaks new ground.  About time too, have to keep up or move out the way. But in the war to keep consumers happy, it is a great move on Facebook's part.  French and German editions by the Spring.  The founder of Facebook is one of the richest men in America with a net worth in the Billions and to book, he is single.  He created Facebook in his dorm room and it has grown to what it is now. 

Bootsy Collins has recorded an exclusive theme song for a 2K Sports' boxing video game Don King Presents: Prizefighter. "Doing the game track was very exciting," says Bootsy. "It's for Don King, a hero of mine from way back. I told Mr. King, 'We gonna punch um, just to make their hair stand straight. Then punch um again, to see the look on their face!'" The game hits stores June 10th, this year.

Honda has a new fuel cell car the FCS Clarity, twice as efficient as hybrids and three times as efficient as gasoline cars.  It is leasing for about 600 bucks a month, even with the maintenance and collision coverage, it is the 0 emissions eco car. 270 miles a tank, its emissions is water. The first one goes to California.

Ok, so still smarting from the takeover bid, both Yahoo and Microsoft are back at the tables. This time not to take over Yahoo, but to both go after Google together.  Even though the shareholders at Yahoo are pissed and want the buyout to be back on.

Oh it was on as the new installment of Grand Theft Auto is just been released and it is so hot, you are lucky if you got a copy.  It is selling like hot cakes.  I have tested almost every system with it, with a few problems. But it is a great game, not quite worth all the hype with the glitch that came with the game, but it is a great game nonetheless. You must go and pick up this game and play it as soon as you can though.  Grand Theft Auto 4 is a hot property, with supply and demand some hope you can get a copy.

It's the 2008 robotics competition this weekend where Long Island high schools create the biggest and best robots and race them around. It is the war and it is on.  So get aboard one and all.  This the time to get that great deal while it lasts for the heavy cell phone user.  So if you are and can change, or upgrade to, save your money and switch now. In other News on Tec`h for Cells. There is a way for cell phone users that change phones alot, to the new one.  For a bit more Tech Forward, it is a great option that gives you money back.  You send it back for 20-30% of what you paid for it.  That is a new way that buys back your old cell phone equipment.  It is one of the things that you will be asked now with the insurance question and it is not only Cell phones, it is TV's and other electronics.
