Nelly Furtado,
who's been recording
her new album in Toronto, Los Angeles, Miami and London, has finally
decided on a title for the project. She's going to call her third album
Loose, she posted online. "It's getting closer to being finished every
single day," she wrote. "Let's just say it's a whole lot of fun. It's a
whole other side of me." She is the one to look for having worked as
you know with Missy, and Nelly.
T what happened in music in July? Madonna has revealed the name of the first single from her new all-dance album, Confessions on a Dancefloor, due in November. According to a post on her Web site, the song is called "Hung Up" and was produced by Stuart Price

name, well now it is official. According to the US Weekly interview
he wants to change his outlook and name. So what do you think he
should change his name to?? Well I don't know either. P
Diddy is going to be the host of the MTV music awards and it is going to
be the new concert to be at. The Holders of the Golden Nominations are
Gwen S, Green Day and Missy Elliott. The music awards will be held
in Miami again this year. Last year the event was a boat a palluoza
with boats bringing stars to the awards. July brings the hot concerts. LIve 8 
concerts all over the world have the public watching. Sir Bob Geldof's
Live 8 concerts rocked music fans and activists alike this weekend.
But did he accomplish his goal of highlighting the plight of struggling
Africans. Free on the net, AOL has been showing clips and
parts of the performances. If you get the chance to watch you would
be loving it. The Concerts are by top shelf artists, like Destiny's Child
and U2 among others. The musical extravaganza took place in nine

John Legend has been selected as one of the newest spokesmen for The Gap clothing and will appear in television commercials and print ads beginning in July. Jermaine Dupri has finished the video for his new single "Gotta Getcha." In the video Jermaine plays a married man who visits a strip club frequently to watch his favorite dancer, played by Janet Jackson Bobby Brown performed with New Edition at Madison Square Garden. Still the
public eye is on poor Jessica and Nicks marriage as they go into another
season of their show. The problems Jessica is having with the Church
group over re-shooting her video still hangs over her head. Don't
give in Jess, tell them to kiss your butt. The Bru ha ha comes from
her Daisy Duke song, these boots were made for walking. The tame
video was nicely done, the people having trouble with this video are
needing sex, or have too much time on their hands. They want this
woman, WOMAN mind you, Married at that to tone down her act. She
cant be a some type of hooker but they want her to be Mickey Mouse all her
life but this is a grown woman, who is a ministers daughter, who even the
Minister Father said was not provocative. They need a life in the
purest part of the word. I have Kids, Nieces and the like, and they
like it, I watch it with them and say it is cute. Jessica is now
looking to adopt a baby. She went past a Mexican orphanage when she
was 16, and always wanted to adopt a Mexican baby. She wants to change a
child's life from there.
Luther
Vandross, past away on Friday, July the first. His viewing was
tonight, tomorrow and will be laid to rest on Friday morning. Luther
was fading away, very slowly, until his passing. He will be missed
very much by all the people in the music business. He was larger
than life and his last album dance with my father was that capping of a
great career, he will be missed. Luther passed two years after
suffering a debilitating stroke.

Fantastic Four, the premier was last night. Jessica Alba was late to
the premiere. The fantastic four, is one of the longest running
comic books. Fans can not wait to see it, I can say after being at
the premiere. It was hot. Tony time from
WB 11 got first dibs. When he came to interviewing Jessica, and
Jessica was gorgeous, even know that she was late.

60,000 people crammed into Murrayfield stadium Monday for the final Live 8
concert, which was addressed appropriately by former South African
president Nelson Mandela. 
The judge heard how
she lied 29 times over three court appearances relating to the shooting.
She told the court that her manager was not at the radio station when he
was and denied knowing a man named Jackson who was her former bodyguard.
Lil Kim was
sentenced to a year in prison plus one day. She reports to
authorities in September. She said nothing as she came out of the
courthouse. This was the sentencing hearing for lying to the grand
jury. Kimberly Jones said that she
originally lied because she was
not sure what to do. Fans were kind
of upset, saying that Martha Stewart got only a few months when she lied
about insider trading. this in response to this shooting in front of
hot 97 studios. Kimberly was also ordered to pay the sum of $50,000.
Besides going to jail. Kim apologized for lying for her friends to
protect them, which tells kids, don't lie in court, if they could get her,
they could get you too. In a statement following the hearing Kim
said "I would like to thank all of my supporters who have stood by my side
throughout this entire ordeal," said Lil' Kim in a statement released
shortly after she was sentenced. "The many prayers and hundreds of letters
of support, e-mails and kind words that have poured in have been
overwhelming and critical in helping my family."

Queen is on the road with Free/Bad Company front man Paul Rodgers as their
lead singer. The set list has been a mix of both Queen and Rodgers hits.
