Foxy Brown, in bizarre twist on a mugging she allegedly suffered Saturday Morn.  She told the Post that she wasn't even at the projects when the beat down went down.  But in direct contradiction her attacker Roshawn Anthony a stripper, was still being held on $50,000 bond.  Roshawn and several other women were accused of pulling Foxy from her car and beating her down.  Not before stealing her Louis Vuitton bag, which had cash, credit cards, and a hearing aid, and they snatched supposedly ripped out strands of her weave.

Wyclef Jean and Supermodel Petra Nemcova were getting down on the dance floor.  They were grinding it up according to witnesses.  They were at Club PM downtown.  Everyone was at the club owner Unik Ernest;s birthday and launch of his charity 'Edeyo: a foundation to aid impoverished children in Haiti.

Lindsay Lohan was allegedly drunk and high on cocaine in Beverly Hills this memorial weekend.  According to police, Lindsay had twice the legal limit of alcohol and traces of coke in her bloodstream when she crashed her Mercedes SL convertible into the curb on Sunset blvd.  The legal limit is .08, and she was twice that. Two other people were in the car at the time, she was taken to local hospital and treated for minor injuries, then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.  Police also found some cocaine in the car. 

Well, talking about DUI's, Eve cut a DUI deal.  Eve, who was not there plead no contest to DUI through her lawyer.  Eve popped a .08 alcohol level after her Maserati crashed on Hollywood blvd in April.  Under the deal, Eve must spend 45 days with a SCRAM alcohol monitoring device attached to her ankle.  She also got 36 months of probation.  Eve must also pay $1400, in fines and penalties.  She also must enroll in first offender alcohol education program.   Her lawyer must prove by July 20th that she is hooked up to the SCRAM device and she enrolled in the program.

Britney has a problem, this time the powers that be has postponed her new album.  This is the latest hit to the star.  They reportedly think that her career is over, but any real Dj or fan knows that adversity breeds a great comeback.   It also breeds great music, musicians have edgyer stuff when in times of adversity and strife.  It usually gives them a great chops and a great sound.  It will be fun to find out what comes of her new music and sound when it comes out.  I think if her record company wants to know if she is ready, do as companies do.  Bring it to the Record pools and let the Disc Jockies rate and put them into their play lists.  Record pool is a group of Radio/TV Djs, Club Djs, & very Mobile Djs that play all types of music and if you want your music on the radio, or in clubs, hit the record pools like Sure Record pool, VIP Record pool, SOS Record pool, RPBC Record pool, and REEL Record pool, among so many other record pools.  They are the ones who put the music out.  All radio station Djs are members of record pools so for you all that want to get your music heard, there it is.  Some of the top Djs are in Record pools, so send them into record pools.  For more info call (718) 904-0500 and speak to them about other record pools and what is needed.  Anyway, Britney will be releasing it later in 2008. That may be good, since it might have time to go to the record pools and have great remixes by time the album drops.  Even though the powers may think that she is a mess, she will have great music coming, quote me on this.

Tiger & Ellen Woods, have the new baby.  Sam Alexis Woods was born  and has dark hair like her father.  She might look exactly like her star father, which would be great for her.  Tiger is looking towards a flexible schedule.

Nicole Richie is headed back to court yet again.  It was delayed 2 weeks, and the Judge is pissed.  She might be eligible for 90 day stint in jail, upping the ante from her buddy Paris.  Who by the way is having a hell of a time in jail.  (DUI case - going wrong way down a busy freeway).  Paris on the other hand is about to be hooked up to the IV drip if she does not look better or eat.  She is endangering her health not eating.  Her sister came, parents came and still reducing weight and looking sickly.

Jewel was in a car accident.  She hit a wall going about 175 miles per hour, she was filming "Fast Cars and Superstars".  She was a little shaken and had a stiff neck but that was the only injury.  Amazing huh?  She was laughing with reporters later saying that she was enjoying watching it over and over.  I guess scared but getting over it by not making it real works.

  

Most will remember Paris like this, but hey she surrendered herself to authorities last night, 2 whole days ahead of schedule.  She left after she appeared in the MTV Movie awards last night. In return, she got her own cell, she stays in the cell 23 hours except to go to shower, use the phone or watch TV.  The 26-year-old heiress checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday. She's expected to serve three-weeks for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. She left early like that to escape the push of TV cameras on her day, good job girl.  You know that you are good when you shake TMZ.com, which these days is hard to do.  But they will get the story regardless.  Hats off to you Paris, and to you guys at TMZ, thanks for getting story anyway.  Ok, now they let her out, she went bonkers from what was told.  She needed to be let go early for problems not disclosed.  Now it seems she went on a hunger strike, she is now back in jail.  Ok hospital ward, her sister Nicky went to visit poor Paris and much to the sha-grin of others got in the jail within 15 minutes.  Guess they wanted to cheer poor Paris up... huh?  Her parents visited and again got special treatment and got to see Paris during non visiting hours.  At least for a minute taking the spotlight off Brit and Lohan, she has been on some drama in jail.  She should be getting out any day now, actually next week.  Oh and NBC said they did not make a deal and rescinded the offer.

For the Hottest party on the Planet, it will be enjoined on Tuesday, the 4th, 2007 at Club Avalon.  The album release party and after work party will be joined. It will be started off with Dj Gerad, at 5pm, rocking the 1 and 2's, with Exotic Dancers and the search for appointments for new movie auditions "OCB" & meet the cast while there, bring head shots.  Rocking outside at 8 pm is Dj Dayana Crespo, and inside main Dj Doug F.,  with a Fashion Show to boot. It will be off the hook till 11 pm when Dj Peter Parker, Dj Richie Cannizo Dj for Tony Touch's Reggaetony 2 Album release Party. Puerto Rican Weekend will be hosted in NYC this weekend.  There will be the Saturday 116th Festival on the East side and it will be great like every year.  There will be performances by many Hot Latin artists and many great dancers performing for free.  It is usually a Crazy day and Then the actual Parade will be on Sunday, Fathers day and it will be fun for all.  The Island of Colors will be serving up the hottest performances and great day for the family to enjoy the parade on 6th ave.  The Parade and the 116th Festival was off the hook and the after parties was full.  It was off the hook crazy, and many were in attendance and dancing in the streets.  On the 50th anniversary of the parade, Ricky Martin was crowned the King of the Parade and was looking good as a King.  The city was aglow with pride as the Latin pride was apparent and thick.  Even the clouds and peeks of sunshine did not deter any from coming or enjoying. It was beautiful.  Usually this parade ends up on Fathers day, this was the first time I ever went when it was not on Fathers day. It was bright with Red, White and Blue.  The radio stations were a blast with the crowds and the performers were amazing.

Federal authorities have charged a Chicago man with copyright violations for allegedly uploading several episodes of Fox's "24" on the Internet before the show's season premiere earlier this year, so watch out guys.

Britney Spears says she "hit rock bottom," in a message posted on her Web site about the end of her marriage and her time in rehab.  Britney may just have hit bottom and good for her.  "Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression," the 25-year-old pop star writes. "I was like a bad kid running around with ADD (attention deficit disorder)." Spears completed a monthlong stay at a luxury Malibu rehabilitation treatment facility in March after a series of run-ins with the paparazzi that included a stop at a San Fernando Valley hair salon, where she was caught on video shearing her own locks. Other photos splashed across the Internet appeared to reveal Spears out partying wearing nothing underneath her short skirts.  Not to mention the new shirt malfunction that showed off a boob.

Say it is not so Ike, Ike Turner spent a night in jail after he was arrested on a 1989 narcotics warrant that turned out to be invalid, police said. Police officers saw his 2002 silver Mercedes-Benz S-50 doing more than 80 mph and straddling lanes, They found he had an old felony narcotics warrant and Turner was arrested and booked into a downtown jail, Harding said. "He had court yesterday and I guess that they deemed it was an old warrant that was never removed from the system," Harding said. Turner was freed from jail about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Bo Diddley, who suffered a stroke after a performance eight days ago, has improved enough to be moved into a regular room at Creighton University Medical Center, his publicist said. Diddley's move out of intensive care was expected to happen later on today, Monday (4th), his publicist said. Publicist Susan Clary said Diddley was awaiting word on when he can be transferred to Shands Medical Center in Gainesville, Fla., near his hometown of Archer, Fla.  Faith Fusillo, Diddley's business manager, said the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer continues to improve and that he has little or no physical limitations from the stroke except difficulty with speech and speech recognition.




 

Paris Hilton has been offered big money to speak at The Learning Annex.  She has been asked to speak at The Learning Annex Real Estate and Wealth Expo in Seattle, Chicago, Boston and NYC.  As time clicks away till she gets out she has been offered 1 Million to teach a one-hour class on 'How to Build your Brand'. Paris told Newsweek once that "I consider myself a business woman and a brand".  Learning Annex President Bill Zanker believes Paris is a brilliant entrepreneur who has built an incredible brand.   What is amazing is that a million dollar offer is the second highest speaking fee.  Talking about Miss Hilton, it is rumored that one of the first places she was to hit was a run on the border (Taco Bell).  She has had cravings for the Mexican type of food before.

Okay, quick jab, Christina Aguilera is thinking about acting.  She has been reading movie scripts in hopes of launching a acting career, this was according to the Associated Press.

Childhood friends Jessica Simpson and Lane Garrison had lunch together on Friday.  But as they went outside when they were leaving, Britney was seen walking slowly behind.  They had lunch at Senor Fred's, a Mexican restaurant in Sherman Oaks.  Lane got into trouble and plead guilty to one count of vehicular manslaughter, one count of felony DUI with body injury, & one count of giving alcohol to a minor. He faces 5.8 years in prison. Jessica's Dad was Lane's minister and he lived at the Simpson home for less than a year, so the pep talk probably helped him.

New York was host to The Gay Pride Parade and its 38th running of the popular parade.  It was packed as usual with gay, straight, curious, & unintentionally surprised.  It was a great day for all who attended.  The Mermaid parade was the day before and was filled with Mermaids at the Coney Island Piers.  The after party was pretty good, but too much walking for me.  Of course the parades were great and different and typical NYC. Since we mentioned Coney Island, The Cyclone is turning 80 this week.  One of the largest wooden coasters and a landmark.

Avril Levine is going to the movies again, as a lead role.  She going to be in a thriller with Richard Gere.  This is her second movie.  Her first was in 'Over the Hedge'.

Hillary Clinton has picked her theme song for her campaign and it is stirring controversy.  Not about the song but the campaign announcing the song.  The commercial which shows her and Bill in a restaurant in a spoof on "The Sopranos", some like it, some do not but it is a nice commercial.  If you had not seen the Sopranos, it would not matter, it just looks like a commercial, but many have voiced their opinions.  Anyway, the song picked was Celine's 'You and I'.  It is a amazing song and good for Hilary.

Hey NY, there is a new Ice Cream brand in NY, (5 Boroughs Ice Cream) it is made by a couple in Astoria Queens.  There is some conflict though with the names of the flavors, Staten Island Landfill.  Boro Pres James Molinaro is up in arms over the name.  Upper East Side Rich White Vanilla, Jackson Heights Mango Dash are just some of their other flavors.  To check out their website click here.

Paula Cole is back after 6 yrs, after her mega hit for the Dawsons Creek theme.  She appeared on CW 11 NY-NJ, and performed for the morning news show.  The concert was great.  She is starting over after taking a break to care for her child.  She devoted time to her and is ready to comeback to the business.

An argument at a suburban Atlanta strip club got a disorderly conduct charge for Young Jeezy and some friends, authorities said. The Hip-hop star, whose real name is Jay Jenkins, was arrested after the incident at the strip club in Clarkston.  "Evidently there was some type of altercation in the club, someone didn't want to leave," Payne said. "It turns out one of the people in the group was Jay Jenkins or Young Jeezy. Evidently he was there with his sister and some friends." Payne said off-duty police officers from the nearby community of Pine Lake were handling security at the club, and called for backup from the county police.  2 male friends were booked on disorderly conduct charges at the DeKalb jail and released. Police said Jenkins' sister was given a citation for disorderly conduct but wasn't booked at the jail.  According to police it was all verbal, no physical confrontation happened.

In computer News, for the Ipod there is a new program.  Karaoke on the Ipod, with a new program (Karaoke) for your Ipod, you down load the songs you want onto your Ipod, put them into you ITunes library and hook up to your TV or not.  The hardware is nice, small and portable to hook up the TV.  You can read the lyrics on the Ipod or the TV. Most songs just have audio but it is cool.

Head Games has David Gershes 'Dance Heads', a great resource for the special event or corporate event.  A different approach to Karaoke, it has funny characters bodies below as your head is free to be put on the body of some character dances.  It is fun to do and a different approach for K Djs.  You have to check them out on the web.

Chris 'Mind Freak' Angel is in NYC doing a trick, trying to escape from a concrete/glass coffin within 24 hours.  Good luck for Chris Angel, it will be in Midtown in Times Square.

Evanescence has added Dark New Day drummer Will Hunt and guitarist Troy McLawhorn to the goth-rock band. The new lineup was set to debut Saturday in Columbus, Ohio, at the Rock on the Range Festival. Hunt and McLawhorn join vocalist-pianist Amy Lee, guitarist Terry Balsamo and bass player Tim McCord.
