Big Hawk of Houston's Screwed Up Click was shot outside a
friend's house in South Houston late Monday night, the Houston Chronicle
reported. The Screwed Up Click rapper was apparently waiting for
his friend to show up when he was gunned down. The S.U.C was made

Star (Troy
Terain) from Power 105's Star and Buckwild Show has been fired over
allegations that he threatened Dj Envy's family on-air. This was not the
first time, the Dj has gotten into trouble, but as usual, his mouth has
got an image of trouble again. Clear Channel, has decided to wash their
hands on Star and his antics after Star, made specific comments against
DJ Envy and his family. Even though he has made a public apology, it is
too late to un-ring the bell. The family is asking that the DA seek hate
crime charges against Star. This all came from threats he made against,
DJ envy's four-year-old daughter (to rape her) on air. Star issued a
statement saying that his comments were inappropriate. Jia Casey(DJ
envy's wife) joined the city officials in calling for the DJ's arrest.
She stated, then he threatened molestation of her minor child, he asked
the public to know the whereabouts of his child and the wife and she is
hopping mad. She claimed that the family was worried sick of the threat.
Three other staff members were fired from the show because of what
happened. Who do not see this coming?

What he chooses to play is music that would probably drive classical
purists up a tree. But when asked whether Mozart would like what he
plays, Daniel replies, "We'd be jammin'. I think the future of classical
music is happening right now." At a concert in San Francisco
featuring the Del Sol string quartet — Daniel's on violin, of course —
and a hip-hop artist named DJ Scientific, the crowd ranged from
zero-something to seventy-something, and represented just about every
color in the light show. If this were the Sesame Street "one of
these things doesn't belong" song, wouldn't DJ Scientific would be the
one who doesn't belong. Not according to Daniel. "No, this is 2006," he
says. "A string quartet and a DJ? I say absolutely, yes." Like it
or not. classical music hasn't gone through this kind of renaissance
since, well, the Renaissance. Although some purists take issue, Daniel
says that, by and large, most classical fans are surprisingly hip to his
hip-hop. Says one female fan: "You can't ignore the stimulation, and
your heart is just beating in time to this music." At first
glance, it's hard to see how this mixture works — classical and hip-hop
aren't exactly bosom buddies. But somehow Daniel makes this musical odd
couple get along — and maybe even hit it off.
