2537 Broadway at 95st in NYC is just one of the shows happening in the city, check out what's happening showcase wise.. The show starts 7:30 PM, Friday August 25th 2006.  I saw the press junket of the show, it showed a all star cast that had a lot of talent and various strong points.  The costumes were gorgeous on the 19th in NYC. Michelle Guria was amazing with her costume designs.  Harlem week is a great time for all, so come down and find out what it is all about. A sneak peak at 135th st. and St Nicholas at about 3:30pm on Saturday for a free show.  The weather should be great even though when I went to see it at the press event at Shadows on 29th street, the club kept reporters out in the rain for more than a hour.  Most left but the ones who stayed were glad the did.

Britney Spears and son Sean Preston out and about, she is due in a month, but the singer opens up about pregnancy the second time around. "She craves melted chocolate!", watching her son grow and explains how she plans to get her body back to People Magazine  In this picture not really looking herself.  I almost thought she was another Starlet (Drew Barrymore), till I saw Sean P. The performer who was once renowned for her 3,000-sit-ups-a-week abs can't wait to get back to fighting form. "I'm so excited to really be able to sweat like I used to.

Lindsay Lohan was sent to a hospital for heat exhaustion, re-hydrated, and released last week after she allegedly collapsed on the set of Georgia Rule. Shortly thereafter, The Smoking Gun released a copy of a letter from James G. Robinson, the Morgan Creek producer of Georgia Rule, in which Robinson chastised Lindsay Lohan, insinuating that it was her party lifestyle that sent her to the hospital and not heat exhaustion. Robinson pulled no punches writing "You have acted like a spoiled child and in so doing have alienated many of your co-workers and endangered the quality of this picture." Robinson went as far as to put the word "exhaustion" in quotes every time he used it, along with "not feeling well", implying that Lindsay Lohan wasn't being completely forthcoming. The letter basically laid down the law, saying "We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior." and that "We will not tolerate these actions any further."

On Thursday, Lindsay Lohan returned to the set of Georgia Rule, in which she ironically plays a troubled teenager, without any incident. It's worth noting that Lindsay Lohan was originally scheduled to be off Thursday, so she has already made up the day she missed. Even Robinson seemed to be backing off his harsh stance now that his star has come back to the set, saying in Back Stage on Friday, after Lindsay Lohan returned, "She's every inch a lady. I felt I needed to remind her of her obligations to show up. It was not a nasty letter. It was, 'Come on be a professional.' We're halfway through with six weeks to go. There's no turning back. I wrote the letter; it was from me, not some damn attorney. She showed up. That's all I cared about."

Taylor Hicks's singing is not music to Justin Timberlake's ears.

"People think he looks so normal and he's so sweet and he's so earnest, but he can't carry a tune in a bucket," Timberlake tells Fashion Rocks magazine about the American Idol winner.

On Hicks's potential career longevity, Timberlake says, "If he has any skeletons whatsoever – if, God forbid, he's gay – and all these people in Mississippi who voted for him are like 'Oh, my God, I voted for a queer!' It's just too much pressure."

Timberlake also took a crack at American Idol, telling the magazine, "I despise it, and yet I'm completely fascinated."

Timberlake's publicist, Ken Sunshine, tells the Washington Post, "These comments are taken completely out of context." Although Timberlake and Hicks have never met, Sunshine says, Timberlake "only wishes him well. He has great affection for anybody that puts himself out there the way he did."

Common and Jeremy Kinear are lending their creative talents to design a line of shirts.  Sounds like a Hot endeavor for the both.  Some of the shirts were really good.

Mel Gibson was arrested Friday, July 28th on suspicion of drunken driving in an incident that has prompted an investigation into whether the arresting deputy was ordered to revise his initial report to remove anti-Semitic references allegedly made by the actor. Gibson, 50, was stopped at 2:36 a.m. Friday after Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies clocked him going 87 mph in a 45-mph zone. A Breathalyzer test indicated his blood-alcohol level was 0.12 percent. The legal limit in California is 0.08. TMZ.com claims Gibson has been pulled over for “reckless driving two other times in Malibu, but he was allowed to leave without a ticket or arrest.”  He checked into a clinic for his problems.  Prosecutors have not decided what to charge him with.  The police brass told news cameras that there is no cover-up and no one was told to revise any reports. Mel Gibson was charged Wednesday, August 2nd, with misdemeanor drunken driving, having an elevated blood-alcohol level and having an open container of liquor in his car. The three counts were filed by Los Angeles County prosecutors five days after Gibson was pulled over on Malibu's Pacific Coast Highway for speeding and he made anti-Semitic comments at the arresting deputy.  It is now a serious thing.

The Canadian girl next door has come a long way.  Baywatch icon Pamela Anderson is Mrs. Rock.  Anderson wed the rock star Saturday in St. Tropez, according to Anderson's spokeswoman, Ann Gurrola. They were engaged before in 2002 but broke it off.   And she remarried her ex Tommy.  Lets hope this lasts longer then any of her previous ones.  But she is happy, according to her blog and many reports.

CBS asked a federal appeals court to set aside the $550,000 fine by the Federal Communications Commission against the broadcaster for airing Janet Jackson's breast-baring performance during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show.

Former blink-182 singer-guitarist Tom DeLonge and his wife, furniture designer Jennifer, have welcomed their second child, Jonas Rocket DeLonge, the musician's rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.  The baby, who was born at 5:03 p.m. on Wednesday in Los Angeles, weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. and measured 20 1/2 inches.  The couple already have a daughter, Ava Elizabeth, who turned 4 on July 15.  The new arrival certainly won't lack for proper furnishings. In January, Jennifer launched a line of high-end kids' furniture that has won fans including Courtney Cox and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Beyonce says she went on a liquid diet to lose 20 lbs. for her role in the movie Dreamgirls – but she doesn't suggest that other people do the same.

"It was a liquid diet where you lose weight really fast," the singer, 24, told Britain's GMTV morning show Thursday when asked about rumors that she'd lost weight on a maple syrup-based regimen. "I would not recommend it if someone wasn't doing a movie, because there are other ways to lose weight.

"But I need to lose it really quick, and I put the weight back on as soon as I finished, so I am no smaller or bigger than I've always been. It was strictly for the movie."
