Rocker Kid Rock was hanging out with Paris Hilton?  No better publicity than to be seen talking to Paris at LG house in Malibu.  He was seen by photogs there in a swimsuit.  I guess he was trying to get attention, since he was showing off his butt crack to all there.  Must have been hanging around repair men, I guess.  But with his new album due on Oct. 9th, it can get the word out since everyone follows Miss Hilton.  What will be funny on the album is the song he wrote dissing his ex.  Well, at least to him it will be, the song is named 'Half your age', it is on the album 'Rock N Roll Jesus'.  This is one I pass on ok.  Oh now this is even richer, they have linked the two together as a couple.

Russell Simmons, Usher and Diddy will be featured in commercials for Macy's department stores. The three entrepreneurs will appear together with other celebrities in a 90-second spot, which will premiere during the Emmy Awards telecast on Sept. 16. Meanwhile, Russell has resigned as CEO of Phat Fashions, a company he founded in 1992. His next venture is to launch his preppy men's wear line Russell Simmons Argyle Culture in the fall.

Lindsay Lohan will serve a One-day behind bars as part of a Plea deal with DA. This for Drunk Driving and Cocaine charges, She will also have to do 10 days community service.  This actually stems from two, count them two, drunk driving arrests, and cocaine in both instances.  Isn't being rich grand, for anyone else would have been put under the jail, let alone being of Color (Latin, Hispanic, Black or Asian) it would have been a different story if it was Lil' Kim.  Well, that is how it goes, sorry Kim.  The DA said that she is getting what everyone else is getting for the same offense.  Well, like I said, it is great to be rich, a Red head and loved by teenie boppers.   Thank goodness she did not kill anyone, she would have been given a medal and told that she did America a favor.  Never mind... lol

Keyshia Cole, backed by Indiana's Voices of Unity Youth Choir, will sing the national anthem before the "NFL Opening Kickoff" game between New Orleans Saints and the home-team Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 6. NBC will televise the performance and match-up live at 8:30 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, contrary to Keyshia's statements to MTV News, a rep for R. Kelly now denies that the two singers are going on tour together in October.  Well, I would not want to be that cocky either, you never know.

R Kelly is still planning a Fall tour, even with the looming trial.  Despite having his child-pornography trial set to start in a month, is R. Kelly already planning to go on tour shortly afterward? R&B singer Keyshia Cole let the news slip during an interview with MTV News.  What is amazing is the fact that Kelly would be tied up in court for most of the month, leaving little time for rehearsal, even if the tour weren't going to start until late in October. A Chicago judge on Tuesday upheld his ruling that jurors and the media will be allowed to view the infamous videotape which allegedly shows R. Kelly having relations with a minor. Both the prosecutors and defense attorneys sought to keep the 26-minute tape from being viewed by the public. The singer's trial is expected to get under way on Sept. 17.

Producers of the Notorious B.I.G. biopic Notorious will hold an open casting call for someone to play the late rapper. Actors can submit audition tapes at the film's official site beginning Monday. "I don't want you to just imitate him," advises Biggie's mom, Voletta Wallace. "I want to see his swagger, his style, his energy and smile come through."

50 Cent reportedly tore a plasma TV off his office wall and threw a phone through a window after learning his track "Follow My Lead" (featuring Robin Thicke) and its video leaked onto the Internet. The 25th Annual Dominican Parade was this weekend.  The parade will kick off down Central park at 11 A.M. It was great and The Bronx's Aventura, was amazing performing on one of the floats.  It was a great time with sounds of Bachata, and Meringue.  The colors, the dancing, was amazing.  The city was alive with Tan skin and dancing once again to the beats of Bachata.  Bloomberg was part of the Parade and was Dancing.

Nicole Richie had a baby scare, she thought that she was having a miscarriage.  She noticed bleeding and rushed to the hospital.  The Doctors assured her that she was fine, but did warn her about a hormonal and nutritional deficiency.  She is 4 months pregnant, if you did not already know.  She is having Rocker Joe Maddens Baby.   She just spent a hour in Jail completing a 4 day sentence.  The DA said that he was following sentencing guidelines.  What is amazing is that the girl served like this.  Being a woman of color, it was the OJ thing, which is good, she is Latina, even though she thinks she is White, with a Black Dad, and adopted, ok con fused but it is ok, she got off.  We are happy girl, just come back to the other side, for you are Hispanic and Black ok..lol

Van Halen is supposedly releasing a statement soon.  A Reunion tour is expected to come soon in October with his son Wolfgang replacing guitarist Michael Anthony. The Police was awesome this weekend in their Reunion Tour by the way.

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will release the single "Tattoo" on Aug. 27, with her as-yet-untitled debut album set for release in November. The precocious singer just signed to 19Recordings/Jive Records and is eager to reconnect with AI audiences. Madonna and the music industry has devised many have tried to close leaks of new music.  There is always some way to get music in advance.  Artists are not too happy for advance music being released.  Some (JZ) have gone the legal route against Myspace and other sharing sites.  This is strange place because some artists don't mind letting the song go to see the talk.  It helps more than hurts sales, or notoriety bringing more sales. Most say that there is no way to stem the music sharing, or the advance leaks.  The leaks have been said to come from press, and so many other ways.  There has been no solution so far and if the Djs do not get advanced copies to play there is no circulation and hurt sales for they let you know that there is hotness coming, so what to do.  In another not related story, Jay Z has been named one of the Kings of Hip Hop Pioneers after making 34 Billion in Assets, sales and acquisitions.  He is getting it done.

After five years of legal delays, R. Kelly's child-pornography trial is set to begin Sept. 17 in Chicago. "He believes in our system of justice and is looking forward to finally having his day in court," said the singer's rep Allan Mayer. The embattled crooner faces 14 counts of child pornography for allegedly videotaping himself having relations with a minor. If convicted, he could serve up to 15 years in prison. America's Next Top Model casting call is on Sat. August 4th.  It is from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Park Cent Central New York.  All women should be between the ages of 18 to 27 years old and the minimum height is 5 foot, 7 inches.  There is a way to cut the line however by going on CW11.com and 5 winners will be picked to cut the line.

The largest Kazoo ensemble attempt was failed but a great thought in NYC.  The group Skyy released an album 27 years ago with actual Kazoo's in the background and was the spear headers this time.  The goal was 2600 but the turn out gave them about 2147 showing up.  The attempt was a great feat for Harlem and the group did well with getting the event up and running with the Kazoo.

The current kazoo record was set this past New Year's Eve in Rochester, where 2,600 Kazooers gathered to play shortly before midnight. Before that, The Quincy Park Band had held the record for gathering 1,791 players in Quincy, Illinois, in 2004.  Organizers were hoping to sign up 3,000 impromptu players for the evening attempt in Harlem, which was led by the female vocalists of Skyy. Their 1980 song "Skyyzoo" featured the sound of kazoos being played for some hot, fun backup sound effects.  With some instruction from a professional kazooist, the lovely Barbara Stewart, author of "The Complete How To Kazoo" and member of the group Kazoophony, the Harlem kazooers' toneless buzzing soon transformed into some great musical tones.

Fabolous will perform Sunday at a special concert in New Orleans for volunteers who have signed up to help restore two charter schools that were damaged during Hurricane Katrina. Meanwhile, Ja Rule is hosting his first-ever LIFE Camp Weekend event Aug. 17-19, which will raise funds for his local youth organization LIFE in his hometown of Queens, N.Y.

Thank goodness Usher is not getting married to the wicked witch of the west.  She may be pregnant but Usher came to his senses and said hold up!  This is not Burger King, you cannot always get your way!  She was being unreasonable and finally got Usher upset.  It was probably so pent up and he appeased the woman, even parting with his mother and best friend plus people who worked with him for years over this woman, probably because she is pregnant but finally got it, it doesn't matter who is the mom of your kid.  If someone is your partner, they have to make things work and dumping everyone to please one leads to resentment down the line and divorce is not far behind.  Hopefully he can resolve with his mother and others and leave this woman behind as just his baby's mama, if she is the mother of his child.  I would expect a DNA test.  Man, just look around, look around..  Guess he didnt, he married the gold digger in a private ceremony this weekend with a new accord.  We feel sorry for the man and will pray for him.  I guess his stupid meter went offline and he will just dealing with it.  He married it, it will be his problem for life.  Look at Eddie Murphy, he didn't marry Scary, and he is going thru trials and tribulations my friend.  So darned if you do, darned if you don't.  Just have the child tested man...

After Tony Yayo rejected a plea deal that would have him serve a nine-month prison sentence in connection with attacking the son of rival record-label executive Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond, the mother of the victim is speaking out. Cynthia Reid is disgusted by the rapper's refusal to take responsibility for his actions. "It is reprehensible," she fumes. "[It] illustrates Yayo's negligence while proving that he considers himself above the law."

Ok, Faith Hill got mad at a fan.  The fan grabbed the privates of her husband Tim McGraw.  She scolded the fan saying that you don't go grabbing my mans privates.  "That is very Disrespectful. " She was fuming and the fan was surprised. 

Government officials said Tuesday that Rush Hour 3, starring stuntman extraordinaire Jackie Chan, will not be screened in mainland China, where the 53-year-old Hong Kong-born actor is considered a national treasure. The official word on why the Brett Ratner-directed sequel won't be making it to the big screen is that the country has already imported too many American films this year for it to be a profitable acquisition, but some officials are attributing the ban to government censors, who supposedly understood what was coming out of Chris Tucker's mouth and didn't like it one bit. The official word, however, is that China's theaters can't accommodate yet another big Hollywood film right now, having already imported At World's End, Spider-Man 3 and Transformers this summer. Not to mention, the Film Bureau also only accepts about 20 foreign-made films a year and schedules designated blackout periods during which only Chinese-made movies are allowed at the box office.  What is amazing to report also is that Lindsay Lohans new movie is dead in the water with so few going to see it, making it a non starter.  Her arrests for DUI tanked the film.

Gwen Stefani will not wear revealing costumes during her concert in Malaysia, the show's organizer said Thursday, after protests from Muslim students about her sexy outfits and steamy acts.  Maxis Communications Bhd. said it "respects the values and conventions of this country" and pledged that Stefani would follow the local code of ethics for foreign artists, which bans the unnecessary baring of skin.  "Gwen Stefani has confirmed that her concert will not feature any revealing costumes. She will abide by the Malaysian authorities' guidelines to ensure that her show will not be offensive to local sensitivities."  Maxis, the country's biggest mobile phone company, said tickets were selling fast.

Snoop Dogg has sold his Claremont, Calif., mansion for $1.8 million. The rapper bought the property in 1994 for $660,000, but hasn't lived in the house since 2000. The 6,500-square-foot home was once featured on an episode of MTV Cribs. Meanwhile, Snoop kicks off his late summer tour Saturday in Chilliwack, Canada.

Lopez filed a lawsuit against Noa to prevent details of their life together from appearing in a book he plans to publish. Noa had originally signed a preliminary injunction that prohibited him from criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement to Lopez. In August 6, 2007, a court-appointed arbitrator has ruled that Noa should pay her nearly $545,000 for his plans to write his tell-all book. The award consists of $200,000 in compensatory damages for breach of the Lopez-Noa settlement agreement; nearly $300,000 in attorneys' fees and almost $48,000 in arbitration costs. The decision would put an end to Noa's plans to publish the book, which was to be titled The Unknown Truth: A Passionate Portrait of a Serial Thriller.

Lil Wayne has been slapped with a $1 million lawsuit by Tyrique Lanye, who claims that she was stomped on when the rapper allegedly threw money into the crowd at his Baltimore concert last October. She claims to be suffering neck and back pain, memory loss and other symptoms as a result of her injuries. Wayne's attorney had no comment on the matter.

Britney Spears got a speeding ticket on Friday the 24th.  She got a speeding ticket on I-10 freeway. At least she was not arrested for DUI, unlike her friends of late.  Brit was traveling with 2 of her male dancers to Vegas when she was pulled over.  She then turned back home after the stop.  She is being investigated on charges of animal cruelty for a cast on her new dog.  Talk about animal cruelty, DMX is being investigated also for animal cruelty. Police in Phoenix, Arizona, searching the home of rapper DMX during an investigation into claims of animal cruelty found about half a pound of suspected illegal drugs.  Although it has been said that DMX had not been home in a couple of months and there was a caretaker taking care of the dogs.  It was not clear if the rapper knew anything about the condition of the dogs.  But police want to question him nonetheless. A dozen pit bulls were seized, the bodies of three dogs were dug up in the garden and a variety of assault-style weapons were taken from the home.  Oh yes, and this was the only time when you could link DMX and Britney together, thought it might be fun to do...

 Kanye West will be featured in a series of TV public service announcements for the ED in '08 campaign that is pushing educational issues in the upcoming U.S. presidential race. In addition, Kanye and his mother, Donda West, will appear together in the near future to promote the cause, while the rapper's upcoming disc, Graduation, will be part of online giveaways at the Ed in '08.  Talking about ad campaigns. Missy Elliott will mash it up in a new multi-platform advertising campaign for Doritos Collisions chips. In the television spot, Missy is seen in the studio snacking on the double-flavored snack and gets an idea to mix hip-hop beats with a little country twang on a track she's working on. The ad will appear on television and the Internet beginning Sept. 17.

50 Cent and Kanye West have laid down the gauntlets. The feud is over, they crushed the feud over some drinks at the 40-40 Club, just in line for the Hip Hop Summit that is coming up soon.  They made nice over shots of Vodka, it was over who was going to sell more albums.

I cannot believe this but Spiderman star Kirsten Dunst's hotel room was robbed earlier this month.  One of the thieves was just arrested because of security cameras and the other will be soon.  There was two bandits caught on camera, they stole a $13,000 handbag, iPod, and a camera. Gerard Binderman was caught.

Shaggy will release Intoxication, his follow-up to 2005's Clothes Drop, on Oct. 16. The album's first single is "Bonafide Girl," and guests on the disc include Akon ("What's Love") and Collie Budz ("Mad Mad World"). Shaggy says the release features both hard-core dancehall and reggae cuts.

Lil' Flip has become a new pitchman for Straight Up Brands' Lucky Nites Golden Liqueur. The Houston rhyme-spitter joins Jim Jones, Foxy Brown, DJ Clue and Ja Rule as celebrity endorsers hyping alcoholic beverages for the company through music and videos. The products are distributed in North America and the United Kingdom.

Fantasia continues her successful run on Broadway's in The Color Purple, the singer admits that it's a struggle to perform eight shows a week. "I'm so tired, mentally tired, physically tired," she says. "After doing Broadway, you can do anything!" Meanwhile, Fantasia's "When I See U" spends its eighth week atop Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, all the while her new single, "Only One U," is starting to make waves in radio, and on the charts.

Beyoncé recently had a problem onstage, she suffered a "wardrobe malfunction" during her concert in Toronto. While the R&B superstar was performing her bouncy number "Deja Vu," her dress flew up to expose her chest. However, the incident wasn't as revealing as it might appear on video. "She was wearing a flesh-tone bra!" explained her rep. "Do you really think Beyoncé would go onstage, without one?"

Star Jones is coming out with her new talk show.  The show Debuts on Monday the 20th, 2007.  It should be great, not only is her first star Isaiah Washington, she lost a lot of weight.  She is looking good, and very different.  A haircut and a sharpness to her that will be great for the CW. 3pm.  Star Jones is a lawyer and former prosecutor who was one of the co-hosts of the Barbara Walters daytime talk show The View until 2006. Rosie wanted her gone and for some reason they appeased the rotund star.  It did not hurt Star much, who just got it together and is coming back on the TV bandwagon with this show. Congrats to her from going from 306 to what she is now.

Jay-Z tops Forbes' first-ever "Hip-Hop Cash Kings" list with 2006 earnings of $34 million. 50 Cent ($32 million), Diddy ($28 million), Timbaland ($21 million) and Dr. Dre ($20 million) round out the Top 5. E! will premiere a one-hour TV special centered on the list, featuring interviews with Big Boi, T.I. and Lil Jon, among others, on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET.  It should be off the hook and very interesting. Jay-Z wins all around, says Forbes.com. He's got Beyonce on his arm, and more millions than 50 Cent and Diddy, take that ya'll.

The Wu-Tang Clan has set a Nov. 13 release date for their forthcoming effort, 8 Diagrams. Although the members of the eight-man collective have been busy with solo careers, there's something special when they come together. "We always compare ourselves to Voltron," says Wu mastermind the RZA. "Individually we do our thing, but when we come together, we form something so powerful, it surpasses what we have individually."

Its that time of year again, MTV Music Awards is coming.  The award show that is filled with thrills and chills.  Leading this years Nominations are Beyonce and Justin Timberlake.  Both with 8 nominations, 7 nods and great songs.  This year will be great. Justin will be at the Continental Arena tonight. It will be off the hook.

R. Kelly admitted that even he is baffled by his Trapped in the Closet series at Wednesday's New York big-screen premiere of chapters 13-22 of the musical opus. "I do not know how to explain it," the singer confessed. "It just keeps rhyming. If I don't rhyme, I can't tell the story." Robert Kelly has also revealed that he has now written more than 50 chapters of Trapped.  A lot of Trappedness.

Of Course Britney is back in the news again, the woman scratched a car while parking.  Britney was parking and scratched another persons car while pulling into a empty spot.  No one was hurt in the accident and no one was arrested. Britney has had many problems as of late and it has been getting to her. She lost it in a another photo shoot, this time for her perfume.  She lost it at shoots and videos before and has had bizarre behavior, like kissing a girl and exposing her breasts on a video shoot.

There was a International Sex Survey just released that showed American men were not sexually experimental. Which is amazing since all the men that I know are sex crazy and very experimental.  Our big boss D is mad crazy, his last gf still calls him all the time, as does his ex's.  There was talk around the cooler many times of things he had done, but I am not one to gossip.  Got me trying new things following his lead. 

Kia Shine wants to help fans look "Krispy," as he is plotting to create his own line of sneakers called Traffik Jamz. The Memphis rhyme-slinger hopes his flashy kicks will dispel people's false impressions of his hometown. "I am on a mission to show people there is something different out of Memphis," he explains. "The shoes are swagger-ful and 'krispy.'"  The shoes should be good to wear also.

Ricky Martin wants another baby, who wants to help the man out?  Well, too bad, he is said to want to adopt from as many countries as he can and wants a big family.  He wants to adopt from every continent according to The Daily News in NYC.  He wants to have as many colors as he can.  He does not want special treatment and is willing to wait for the paperwork to come through.  He says that he hates hearing about stars that try to buck the system by getting kids early with favors and money. Ricky is 35 and loves kids and would make a great papa for those kids anyway, we wish him luck.

This weekend at the South Street Seaport is the National Yo Yo Exhibition.  Some of the best players in the Yo yo world will be present.  It starts Saturday at 11:00 A.M.  World champions will be showing their best tricks and showing off for the audience so bring the kiddies..

Gwen Stephanie is in trouble with band-mates.  They are sore that it took so long to get back together.  They are trying to get back together to do an album.

Twista is "very disappointed" by McDonald's decision to drop him from its music tour because of his lyrical content. "It was unsettling that I would be removed from the tour," he says. "For people to single me out as a negative individual because of [my lyrics] is both unfair and unnecessary," he says. Sean Kingston will replace Twista at the Aug. 7 stop in Chicago.

Jay-Z will launch Rocawear's "I Will Not Lose" multimedia campaign on Aug. 15. The promotion consists of billboards and magazine print ads featuring Ciara, Chris Brown and Three 6 Mafia. The push also features individuals who overcame obstacles to achieve their goals. Meanwhile, Jigga has reached an undisclosed monetary settlement with pro wrestler Dallas Page in a copyright infringement case over the "diamond" hand signal.

Musician Wyclef Jean will be honored for his humanitarian efforts at a benefit gala being presented by One X One, a Canada-based foundation committed to fighting world poverty. The event will be held Sept. 9 in Toronto. Meanwhile, check out Clef's new single, "Sweetest Girl" (featuring Akon and Lil Wayne), from his upcoming disc, Carnival II (Memoirs of an Immigrant), due in November.

Sean Kingston is glad that he allowed hitmaker J.R. Rotem to produce all of the tracks for his self-titled debut (due Tuesday). "[We're] always coming up with something that's very different [and] very unique," he says. "So I let him do most of the album and it turned out good." Meanwhile, Sean will perform "Beautiful Girls" on NBC's Today show on Tuesday.

In the world of reggae music, Collie Buddz is a walking contradiction. He's doesn't hail from Jamaica or have dreadlocks, and get this: He's white. The vanilla-skinned Bermudan, who sports a shaved blond head, has been fooling listeners since he started incorporating Soca music, R&B and hip-hop into his solid reggae foundation. Buddz, born Colin Harper, even baffled record execs. "My ex-manager was black, and he had dreads. When we had meetings, we would get into the room and they started asking him about the music," laughs Buddz, 25. "Once he told them I was the artist, their jaws dropped." Columbia quickly looked past his appearance and inked Buddz, who's been involved in the record business since the age of 15, when he and his older brother, Matthew, would spend their afternoons at Platinum Studios in Bermuda. He has been blazing up the reggae charts ever since. He is stand up artist and doing well, and for a man that does not look the reggae artist type to the suits he is taking the world by storm. Hey, looks can be deceiving.

Russell Simmons' Hip-Hop Summit Action Network is set to invade Philadelphia and Canada this month. The Hip-Hop Summit Town Hall Meeting will arrive in Philly on Aug. 10 with legendary producer Kenny Gamble, rapper Doug E. Fresh and others scheduled to attend. On Aug. 18, the organization's "Get Your Money Right" tour will hit Toronto with guests LeToya, Gabrielle Union and ex-BET VJ Free headlining the event. Amazingly he is having an effect on the Hip Hop community, with more artists trying to go away from cursing, N-word lyrics like: Chamillionaire.  Hating to ride the coat-tails of her hubby but worth mentioning in the same breath.  Kimora Lee Simmons' will be on her own show on Style Network.  August 5th is the Premiere and it should be great, 8pm Eastern, 7pm Central time. The name of the show is "Kimora life in the Fab Lane".  Watch it, it should be great.

Brad and Angelina may have called it quits.  They have been together since 2005.  It may be over and have been fighting in France.  She threw wine at him and cursed supposedly.

Melanie B. is taking Eddie Murphy back to court and it may be a battle royal.  She is seeking to name him legally as the father. She is also seeking child support.  Ok this is funny and new:  Mel got married to a man named Steven Bellefonte 2 months after giving birth to Eddie's kid.  The marriage has been very hush hush amid the problems with Eddie. She married June 6th in Vegas.

Whoopi Goldberg is the next host for the view, taking over Rosie O'Donnell's spot.  Not that Rosie and Whoopi are in the same league.  Whoopi is a powerhouse and Rosie is just a mouth that has gone downhill.  Whoopi is doing a radio show in NYC right now.  She has good ratings and we shall see if she is going to be doing both.  She is a great mediator and able to control NYC radio hosts in the morning on KTU Fm radio.  Which is very hard to do, those cats are fast and furious, so she will be good ref on The View.

Will wonders never cease, well Stevie Wonder said Thursday he will hold his first U.S. tour in more than a decade, beginning next month in San Diego. "A Wonder Summer's Night" will include 13 concerts from Aug. 23 to Sept. 20 in eight states. Stops in California will include San Diego, Lake Tahoe, Concord, Santa Barbara, Saratoga and Los Angeles. Other cities include Portland, Ore.; Woodinville, Wash.; Chicago; Detroit; Atlanta and Baltimore. The final concert will be in Boston. Tickets will be available beginning Aug. 11.

An estimated 7,000 people showed up to watch Bruce Willis and his blues band perform at the Kennedy Space Center's rocket garden Thursday night.
