Beyounce Problems
dancers working on Beyonce's latest videos are being low-balled on their salaries in order to make the videos on the cheap. B is shooting several music videos in L.A. this week, which we're told she is financing, not her label. Sources also say Beyonce's choreographer, Frank Gatson, has refused to work with any of the dancers' agents on this job.  By eliminating the middleman and dealing directly with the dancers, Beyonce can pay them below standard wages. Industry contacts say this practice is highly irregular for an artist of Beyonce's stature, and it undermines the dance industry as a whole. RSA Films, has recently agreed to pay agency fees for some of the dancers.  Usually, a dancer cast in an A-list artist's video can earn around $3000 for two rehearsal days and two shoot-days of work. Without agents fighting for their rights, the dancers on Beyonce's latest videos will earn less.  While some dancers have boycotted the high-profile job, others who are willing to go around their agents, have been flown to L.A. and put up at hotels to work for the lower rates, just to say they danced for a megastar like Beyonce.

Anna Nicole Smith has passed away.  She was dead before she got to the hospital.  She felt flu like symptoms at 2pm in South Florida, passed out her body guard gave her cpr and was taken to hospital.  She was married to the older Billionaire J Howard Marshall.  She fought the family over the estate after his death and was dogged by paternity suits and Trim Spa ads.  Anna was a good woman, a poster girl for Trim Spa.  She was a small town Texas girl, who looked like Marilyn Monroe.  We will miss her hyjinx, on MTV and commercials.  They are awaiting the results of the autopsy to actually confirm her death.  She had a fall earlier in the week and hit her head on a bathtub at the hotel.  She had a nurse looking after her.  The nurse made the discovery and made a call to the desk as the bodyguard started cpr.  It is been speculated that it was drugs, but not confirmed till the autopsy is in, it is all speculation.  Anna Nicole Smith's body remains stuck in the morgue, but the lawyers feuding over it agreed in Florida on Thursday that a funeral director could begin the embalming process, perhaps as early as Friday. But the issue of who controls the body and where it might be buried will linger until at least Tuesday. Earlier on Thursday, a judge ruled that an expert working for ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead will be allowed to review DNA samples taken from the body to make sure no one will substitute other samples in the paternity fight over Smith's daughter Dannielynn. Shane Gibson the Finance Minister in the Bahamas is resigning over his friendship with Anna, amid rumors that he fast tracked her application for permanent residency on the Island and for clothed pictures of him bugging out with Anna Nicole on her bed.  Even though both were fully clothed and pictures innocent, the thought was enough to give his downfall.  Don't know why, Kennedy did more to Marilyn and he did not step down. Gibson denied any sexual relationship and any wrongdoing, and called the speculation "vicious and wicked lies," but he still issued a public apology Sunday night for having "offended" the Bahamian people with his actions.   More on story

Tara Reid, was surprised, surprised in only a few moments after she climbed onstage at the Blender Sessions party at Tao nightclub, while Akon performed his hit song, "Smack That." And for this performance, the "that" was Tara Reid.  Tara mounted then gyrated on Akon as he pretended to pump her all around the stage. One of his mohawked band members decided to get in on the action, and the two bounced Tara around between them.  After the hardcore dance, a discombobulated Reid was consoled by platinum-toothed rapper, Nelly.

Rod Stewart is reportedly getting a million dollars for a hours work.  He will receive that for singing at the 60th birthday bash of Wall street Mogul Steve Swartzman.  The Party will be at the Feb. 13, Park Ave Amory for about 5 million dollars in total.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo got into a heated fight over a Jessica Simpson Lookalike.  It got hot when the girl was trying to give her digits.  The pair got into a loud tiff at Manhattan club Plumm.  Nessa said to him, "We have to talk." Lachey followed, and even hailed her a cab, but it was too late, his Not-Jessica had already gotten her own cab and hightailed it away from the club. The pair has been inundated with rumors that they're already engaged.

LL Cool J is back on top, he has a new book and it is going wild.  He has hit the talk show circuit, CW network he was on Tyra and Montell same day.  He was like usual, big and great man.  He has a clothing line coming out.  He does well and you must check out this system for working out.  He shows that he works out and this body is not from a bottle or a Doctor. It is the LL Cool J's Platinum Workout.  He talks about diet and several things in this book, even varying workout structure to maximize weight loss.  A great workout if I do say so myself.  If you did not hear or see Tyra, his favorite cereal is Lucky Charms.  His trainer and co-author of book, Dave "Scooter" Honig was on almost every show actually showing off the exercises with LL.

Danity Kane, P Diddy's girls are blazing the charts and doing well.  Have to put that out, since they are doing their rounds on tour.  A feather in Puffys hat.  Oh another thing, Congrats to P Diddy, he and Kim Porter having twins.  The babies are so very cute.  one-month-old twin baby girls, D’Lila Star and Jessie James Combs. They’re featured on the cover of the upcoming issue of on the cover of Hello! Canada with Diddy’s girlfriend Kim Porter.

Amanda Bynes was one of the drivers involved in a multiple car collision in Beverly Hills.  Police quickly responded to the scene, but no injuries were reported. The crash brought rush hour traffic to a grinding halt on one of the busiest streets in Beverly Hills. Witnesses claim Bynes kept her composure after the crash and calmly called for help on her cell. Shortly after, the actress was spotted removing items from her 2005 BMW X5 while she waited for a tow truck to arrive.
No police report was filed. Law enforcement sources tell us the officers only helped facilitate the exchange of information between Bynes and the other driver.

On her 2006 Confessions Tour, Madonna performed in front of 1.2 million people and grossed more than $260 million, making it the top-grossing tour ever by a female artist.  Even though she has done great tours this is a great feat by the weird now. A funny quip that came up was something the Material Girl came up with was: "I want to be like Gandhi and Martin Luther King and John Lennon, but I want to stay alive," the singer said during a Valentine's Day interview on Sirius Satellite Radio.

While most couples like to spend Valentines together, David and Victoria Beckham were apart far apart: Victoria was in Los Angeles while David was at home in Madrid.

Mary J. Blige didn't exactly pull a Hilary Swank at the Grammys on Sunday night she at least remembered to thank her manager husband Kendu Isaacs. But the three-time winner did forget to thank the two music powerhouses who first helped put her on that stage: Uptown Records founder Andre Harrell and her first producer, Sean "Diddy" Combs.  She is kicking herself stupid with this mistake.  She was nervous from all reports and feels bad for not including them.  But everyone who worked for the two probably knew that she meant to, they worked hard to help her get where she is now.  Andre's crew worked hard to get her into the mouths of the people who should know.

Howard Stern did it again, he did it this time, what did he do?  Well, he proposed to Beth Ostrosky 24, he announced on his Sirius Satellite radio show Wednesday.  She said yes on Tuesday night when he asked her.  Last month, Stern announced on the air that he and Ostrosky had gotten married, but later revealed it was a prank.

What a difference a day makes, well the haters/synics of the Movie world came up against it but it came back.  The writers of what will be hot, were shocked when Ghost Rider came out hot. Comic book adaptation Ghost Rider motored to the top spot at the US box office at the weekend with the biggest haul of the year so far, $44.5 mil.  Most critics thought the film would tank, but people came out anyway.  Forgetting that most Marvel fans go to the movies, have a voice in what is actually hot.  The real payers at the box office actually wanted to see this flick more than wanted to hear what a bunch of old men who go to movies think. Who thought the public thinks.
The film was also the largest ever opening for a film headlined by Nicolas Cage, who plays the title character, a motorcycle stunt driver who moonlights as the devil's bounty hunter. Cage's previous biggest opening was the $35.1 mil debut of 2004's National Treasure.  For most people when Sony did not do a advance screening, most critics tanked the film on principle.  Big mistake, because they were wrong. Also debuting at the box office was "Bridge to Terabithia," which came in second with an estimated 22 million dollars, according to preliminary figures from Los Angeles-based box office tracker Media By Numbers.

A 123 pound burger is breaking records for the biggest burger around. It was made by a Penn. restaurant, Teddy's Wheelbarrow Pub.  A 80pd Beef Paddy, 30pd bun, 12 tomato's, probably a head of lettuce, and 160 slices of cheese. It costs about $379 on the menu.

J.Lo's auditions for her new "Glow After Dark" reality show were derailed Friday night when two members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) took the stage, pretending to audition, and launched into a tirade against the singer/actress. Macy's in Downey, California. "J.Lo, fur ho!" screamed one of the ladies, who began by saying, "I think the most important thing about being a diva...is not only being sexy and being stylish, but is not wearing real f***ing fur!" The shocked M.C. scooped up one of the infiltrators and strong-armed her off the stage. Jen was not present at the time.

Now what is up with "Jadakiss" arrest?  Well using his real name, Jason Phillips, the hip-hop artist pleaded not guilty to an indictment charging him with possessing a loaded handgun and marijuana. Jada was arrested on Oct. 7 with three other men in his native Yonkers. Police said they stopped their car after smelling marijuana and then found the gun. Jada's lawyer, Clement Patti, said, "I have yet to see or hear of any evidence connecting my client to possessing this weapon." He said Jadakiss was in the backseat and did not know there was a gun in the front console. If convicted of the gun charge in Westchester County Court, Jadakiss would face a maximum sentence of 16 months to seven years in prison

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has recommended that singer-actress Brandy be prosecuted for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. The CHP department has ruled out mechanical malfunction as the cause of the crash. The source adds that the CHP believes Brandy "was just going too fast" and "was the person at fault." If convicted, Brandy could face one year in L.A. County Jail and a $1,000 fine. Brandy was involved in a wreck on a Los Angeles freeway on December 30, 2006. The accident claimed the life of 38-year-old Awatef Aboudihaj. Brandy was traveling at around 65 miles per hour but did not stop when traffic in front of her slowed. Brandy's vehicle struck the vehicle in front of her and triggered a four car crash. There is no evidence of drugs or alcohol and Brandy was not arrested.

According to news buzz, Britney Spears has been making late-night phone calls to K-Fed in hope of a reconciliation, so say several of Kevin's close peeps. Supposedly Britney's relationship with Isaac Cohen is a ruse to make Kevin jealous.  Do not know if that is true but why oh why?  It is a joke to even hear, he just is not a something that anyone would want back, he is pond scum. 

Now that she's moved well beyond "American Idol" into Oscar-nominated fame, Jennifer Hudson is dissing the show that made her famous, calling it abusive, misleading, and brainwashing. She tells Essence magazine (via People) of her time on the show, "You go through this mental thing: you've got to get yourself back together. You've been abused, misled and brainwashed to believe whatever they want you to think." Hudson, who finished sixth during Season Three of the show, says that she was "the girl in the turkey wrapping," referring to a particularly bad wardrobe choice, and that to overcome the characterization, she had to "sing my way out of it." Meanwhile, Hudson scoffs at rumors that there was any tension on the set of "Dreamgirls" between her and Beyonce Knowles: "We clicked from day one."  (reprint)

Poor Tyra Banks is going thru changes with these rumors of her getting fat.  She shot back with a show on her hurt feelings and a shot back.  She is good looking no matter what and has a audience that adores her.  We still would watch her big or small.  She has gained weight but not bad for her being a tall woman who is a woman of means.  Much ado about nothing in this reporters opinion, but it sure woke her up and she is working on just being Tyra.  Most remember when she did the expose on being fat, wearing a fat suit and walking about, she was horrified at remarks that were thrown her way.  It was open dialogue show and tastefully done, she should have gotten an award. She is a great host and we wish her well with the show...

Emineem has a little stalking in his system according to Mariah Carey.  She has been a bit perturbed by his antics of late.  Miss Carey publicly denied having had any relations with the rapper, he didn't like it and even called her a liar on the air and reserved some choice rhymes for her on his latest album, "The Re-Up." And Mariah simply doesn't understand: "I'm curious as to why he's so obsessed with me." (Uh, Mariah, you're the one still talking about him.) Adds Mimi, "I never got an apology letter, by the way... then again, I wasn't exactly searching my mailbox for it."  We can understand the crush on Mariah, but Mimi don't play that lil man. More

I have a question to the owners of Sonic Restaurants, why oh why do you run commercials in NYC or NYS if there is no Sonic Restaurant in the whole state?  Can anyone tell me.  This is ridiculous, and I feel like having a letter writing campaign against restaurants that are not in that state not being able to show commercials in states they are not in.

Kenny Chesney is shot down gay rumors, which were originally sparked when Renée Zellweger cited "fraud" as the reason for annulling their short 2005 marriage.  "It's not true. Period. Maybe I should have come out and said, 'No, I'm not (gay),' but I didn't want to draw any more attention to it," the country star, 38 tells 60 Minutes in an interview to air Sunday.

Justin Timberlake was named best international male solo artist at the Brit awards (the UK's version of the Grammys) on Wednesday, and used the opportunity to jokingly warn the audience about the perils of drinking. "Thank you very much for this," Timberlake, 26, said via video link. "I'm very flattered. I'm actually on tour so I couldn't be there. Everyone have a great night. Stop drinking! You know who you are. I'm speaking to you. You are going to get sloppy."

Nelly Furtado scored the best international female award, making it a clean sweep for North America in all international categories. "God I'm excited, I'm thrilled," Furtado told the crowd of 11,000. "I can't wait to put him on my mantle... I always wanted one of these"

Beyoncé Knowles isn't shy, but she had to muster up her courage to pose for the cover of this year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. "It takes a lot of guts. I'm really a shy person," the singer tells the magazine. "Making the SI cover for the annual top-selling issue propels the singer into an elite class of model whose ranks include Christie Brinkley, Elle Macpherson, Rachel Hunter, Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks. It is a feather in the cap for a person who dabbles in everything, from singing, acting and modeling, a tri-fecta of sorts in the performance world.  Very few have done all of the parts of performance, she is doing quite well nonetheless.

Justin and Cameron on again??  Justin Timberlake was in a hotel with a few colleagues, one of whom was Oscar-nominated director Martin Scorsese, when Cameron Diaz strolled into the room. An eyewitness later told People magazine that, "Cameron never joined their table." The witness explained, "She just showed up and Justin got up and started talking to her. They were being very discreet. They weren't kissing or holding hands or anything, but they were being very friendly."
