A Maryland man accused of stalking Michelle Branch  was arrested at her concert in Sheboygan this week after she spotted him in the crowd. Branch, who was onstage, asked security personnel to approach him, witnesses said.
"Michelle Branch  just said, 'Wait a second. There's a guy in the audience - striped shirt and glasses - can somebody check him out?"' said Cali Haas, 20, of Sheboygan, who was in the crowd. "It left everyone just so confused, like, 'Is this a joke, part of the show?"' Dominick Giordano, 32, was cited for disorderly conduct after employees at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts stopped him as he tried to run away, police said. Branch apologized to the crowd and played her final song, Haas said. Authorities said Giordano had been following Branch to concerts around the country since 2003 and regularly sends her letters and videos. A police report from Monday's incident said Giordano had previously managed to sneak backstage at concerts and into post-concert parties, and had lunged at Branch during an autograph signing. "He used to get his way into meet-and-greets and private events somehow and would try to approach her and touch her and just really inappropriate stuff," said Branch's road manager, Joshua Scott.

Lindsay Lohan is back in the mix again.  She is said to have offered to be a pitch woman for Condos.  It was reported by NY Post that she was offered a apartment just for the star power but the post reported that Lindsay is neither renting nor buyng there so the 42st meca condos are out of luck with her.  Maybe they need to offer her money.

Busta Rhymes will face trial on two assault charges after a judge withdrew a plea offer Monday that would have let the rapper remain free. Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Tanya Kennedy withdrew the offer that included probation, community service and a series of lectures to troubled youth. She cited his recent arrest for driving with a suspended license as the reason. After the judge withdrew her plea offer, the 34-year-old rapper rejected a followup offer by the prosecution of one year in jail for each of two counts of assault - to run concurrently and a $500 fine for the suspended license charge, and will go to trial instead. Kennedy tentatively set the trial to begin May 8. In February, Rhymes rejected a prosecutor's offer of six months in jail on the two assault charges, but said he would consider the judge's deal that would have allowed him to plead guilty to misdemeanor assault and remain free. Rhymes, whose real name is Trevor Smith, is accused in a complaint with beating Edward Hatchett, 39, his former driver, "with a closed fist about the head and neck" and kicking him in the ribs and torso during a dispute over back pay. The attack on Dec. 26 outside Rhymes' lower Manhattan office left Hatchett with cuts, bruises and substantial pain, according to the complaint.                 Back to the top..

One of the hip hop artists with top-selling hip-hop group G-Unit has pleaded not guilty to harassment and endangering the welfare of a child after police accused him of slapping and hitting the 14-year-old boy.  Tony Yayo , 28, whose real name is Marvin Bernard, was released Sunday on $5,000 bail after entering his plea during his arraignment in Manhattan.

Mary Weiland, 31, was booked for investigation of felony arson vandalism after officers responded to a call Saturday night that a female was burning clothes. They found a trash can full of smoldering clothes, Sgt. Mathew Ferguson said. Police were called to the nearby boutique Graciela Hotel on Pass Avenue earlier Saturday after the couple got into an argument that left two rooms vandalized, Ferguson said.
Officers called Weiland, who said the wardrobe was worth $10,000, Ferguson said. The couple's children, ages 4 and 6, were placed in the custody of family friends. The arrest culminated a rowdy weekend for Weiland and his wife.
"Both rooms had damage and items scattered, broken plates and things. It was looking definitely like items were deliberately destroyed," Ferguson said. He said the amount of damage exceeded $400. Mary Weiland was at the hotel with the couple's children when police arrived. She voluntarily went to the police station to give a statement. Weiland, 39, showed up later with his attorney to give a statement. "She is a suspect in the vandalism. He is not," Ferguson said.  No charges were filed and the couple left. Ferguson said hotel owners would have to decide if they want Mary Weiland prosecuted for vandalism, which would be a felony because damage exceeded $400.       Back to the top..

The former lead singer of the former punk rock band Mest was arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing a 25-year-old man during an argument, police said.  Anthony Lovato, 26, was being held on $1 million bail pending an investigation of criminal homicide, said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department. Lovato and another man argued early Sunday in the parking structure of an apartment building, Lopez said. When police arrived at the scene, they found the unidentified man lying on the ground with knife wounds. He died later at a hospital. Lt. Andrew Neiman said Lovato was calm and cooperative when police arrived. "He did in fact call the police, call 911, after the incident and remained on the scene (to) surrender himself," he said. Police had been called to a woman's apartment Saturday night when the two men fought, but no one was arrested at that time. They said Lovato and the victim had been involved with the woman at different times. Lovato and his brother Matt formed Mest in 1995 in suburban Chicago and recorded several albums on Madonna 's Maverick label. They performed on the Warped Tour, a touring music and extreme sports festival, in 2003.        Back to the top..

Eddie Griffin the comedian is doing well this morning after being in an very expensive accident.  He somehow lost control of a rare Ferrari Enzo and crashed it.  The care was worth about a Million and a half dollars and was rare and gorgeous.  He was part of a race at a charity function at the Erwindale Speedway in California.  It was part of a promotion for the new movie 'Red Line'. Eddie walked away but the car was totaled.  I hope there was insurance.       Back to the top..

For the second time in less than a year, British authorities have denied Snoop Dogg a visa to enter the U.K., this time over concerns that his coheadlining appearance with Diddy on their current Pass the Puff tour would not be in the public's best interest.  Snoop Dogg and Sean "Diddy" Combs have canceled the British dates of their European tour after Snoop was denied a visa to enter Britain, his record company said on Tuesday.  The pair were "incredibly disappointed and devastated" after concerts in London, Cardiff, Manchester, Nottingham and Glasgow were called off, Polydor said in a statement. "With late notice of Snoop being denied a visa, time has run out and it is too late to reconfigure the show," it said. "They really did not want to let fans down this way as the UK was a planned highlight of the tour. Snoop Dogg , real name Calvin Broadus, has been performing across Europe with Combs, once his bitter rival in a notorious feud between the east and west coast U.S. hip-hop scenes. Fans will be given a refund. The tour continues in Dublin on Saturday.. "It feels like a slap in the face if I don't get to perform there. I think [British officials] need to speak to the kids. If they say they don't want big Snoopy Dogg there, then I'll keep it moving. Otherwise, open up and let me do what I do," Snoop told MTV. "With my mike and presence I can reach the kids the politicians can't and tell them to stop the violence and killings that are currently going on in the U.K. I'm here to perform and give people what they want—to be a peace figure." He also noted that, if anything, his historic trek with Diddy was about promoting an upbeat view of hip-hop that unifies people, not about revisiting the former rivals' old feuds from the days of the so-called East Coast-West Coast rap rivalry. "Me and Puffy come from a background where with the East Coast and the West Coast there were a lot of differences in the hip-hop community. But now we want to go around the world and show positive examples in the U.K." Snoop said. The multi-platinum selling performer acknowledged his past run-ins with the law, but said he hoped that authorities would recognize his effort to leave that part of his life behind. "I think if people could hear me saying this, they'd see I'm about peace, love and harmony," he added. "I can't control my drugs and gang-banging past. People can see that I now have a different identity and that I've changed my lifestyle around completely. Walter Turnbull (194-2007) of the famed Harlem Boys Choir has passed.  He passed after months trying to recover from a stroke. He is the founder of the boys choir, he started it in a church basement in 1968.  The choir has performed for Presidents and the Pope, and many other functions.       Back to the top..

Britney Spears is out of rehab and ready to deal with her divorce. Britney checked out of The Promises Rehab Facility Tuesday in the afternoon. Britney finished her rehab since going in, on February 22., shortly after shaving her head and getting a tattoo. It looks like Britney is going to have to pay about 20 million to settle her divorce with Kevin. They have agreed to share custody of their two boys, in contrast to what others thought of and upcoming knock out, drag off fight to the bitter end. Nothing like rehabilitation to bring out the best in the person, and calm someone down, brings perspective in rehab.  She is on the warpath with her first ex hubby and British papers for false allegations.  She is also trying to shut down another story about what happened in her rehab by one of the guest there.  It seems everyone is out to get her, everyone trying to get all the money that they can out of stories about her, the poor girl is going crazy fighting off these attacks.  Britney has been going to the Dentist of the stars, Dr. Bill Dorfman, for a painful molar.  That, is a coflicted report though since there is no confirmation.

Nicole Ritchie has been having problems on the set. Her health problems are causing slow downs on the set ("Simple Life"), and it is causing tension between Paris and her.  Nicole collapsed on location in Malibu around 4 pm, last Wednesday. She was taken to her trailer immediately so that she could lay down. There was no ambulance called, and Paris completed the days filming without her. Nicole has had problems with drug abuse and weight issues, adding the problems with Paris leading many to speculate. Last season was shot without the two speaking to each other. The production set gave the comment of Nicole feeling a little woozy, and was suffering from a dehydration thing.                                  Back to the top..

Youtube.com yesterday announced its first ever You Tube Video Awards. Honoring the massively popular web sites, best video clips as decided upon by its viewers. On Friday a winner will be picked, from viewers who will pick from the best that are on this site. Some nominees on-site regulars, said Dennis Lee ever helpful, comically Lee Phil. "Ask a ninja"; lonely girl 15, the musings of a teen lay there revealed to be a marketing campaign; and the band OKAY, go, whose "here it goes again" music video already won a Grammy and over 12 million viewers. Only the hottest videos, the ones that most people like were picked to be nominees, but there were a couple that slipped in any way, that had less. Who knows, one day, there might be an awards show on TV, for these new stars to shine on the stage. Taking over the MTV and Oscars franchises, for now, that is just a dream, but the awards are real.

VANESSA WILLIAMS CELEBRATES HER BIRTHDAY
with 2,331st STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME
at 7000 Hollywood Boulevard, Monday, March 19, 2007.  Born in Millwood, New York, Vanessa’s early years were spent surrounded by music.  Her parents were music teachers who recognized her musical gifts early on and encouraged her to pursue her love of the arts.  When she was young, she acted, danced, played piano and French horn in her high school orchestra, concert band and marching band and she sang in the concert choir and chorus.  Her early interest in performing led to a passion for musical theatre.  She won an NFAA scholarship was a finalist for a Presidential Scholarship in acting in 1981 and chose to continue her education at Syracuse University, where she majored in musical theatre.  While at college in 1983, Vanessa was sought after by local talent scouts who invited her to participate in the Miss Greater Syracuse Pageant.  Three months later, Vanessa won the 1983 Miss America title and the $30,000 scholarship that accompanied it.  The controversy that followed only left Vanessa stronger and more empowered in her commitment to a career in the world of entertainment.

Richard Jeni, who played opposite Jim Carey in the mask has passed away.  He committed suicide with a gun found in his possession.  Police responded to a womans call who was distraught and found Jeni suffering from a gunshot wound.  The woman was quoted as saying "my boyfriend shot himself in the face. Jeni was a Brooklyn born native, who lived in Bensonhurst.  He graduated from Hunter College and then moved to West Coast but would come back to his roots to perform in comedy houses here.  He was a regular on the Tonight Show, and Leno, not to mention Comic Strip Live. 

Regis Philbin is in the hospital recovering from a triple bypass at a medical center. The talk show host was dodging talking about the operation.  He had talked about it 2 years ago on David Letterman.  He will out for 5 weeks from his show.  There will be rotating hosts on the show till he comes back.       Back to the top..

Pax Lien is the new son of Brad and Angelina Jolie.  He is from Viet Nam, and they are putting on the finishing touches to the adoption.  They had wanted a equal number of boys and girls and now they do.  This is a splice of life for them, they love kids and they are head over heals in love with the new addition.  They got him from the Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chin Minh City.  The adoption was fast-tracked thru Vietnamese goverment and then the pair ran over to the US Consulate to get a passport for the cutie. 

There was also a million dollar plot to kidnap the tot, it was credible as evidenced by the security team and meticulously planned.  A gang in L. A. was supposedly trying to make the plan go into full fruition.

Taylor Bryant 11, got a wish come true from the Country crooner Tim McGraw.  He held a private concert in Times Square part of Make A Wish Foundation.  He also gave Taylor a signed CD.  She is suffering from Spina Bifida.       Back to the top..

Josh Kelly was on the WB 11 in NY.  He performed Break away from his third CD.  It was a good performance. He attended Mississippi U on a golf Scholarship.  Born Joshua Bishop Kelly 1/30/80.  Singing from time he was 11 in a blues band. Toured with Third Eye blind and Dave Matthews band.  Engaged to actress Katherine Haig.  They met on the set of his video "Only You".  The new Cd is Just Say the Word" being performed at the Valerie Ballroom this Sunday.  So check it out, he is a great singer with a great range.      Back to the top..

Yancy Butler was charged Tuesday in Connecticut with driving under the influence.  This after crashing her Saab into a wire guard rail.  Yancy once starred in the cable series "Witchblade".        Back to the top..

Drew Barrymore, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Grant, T.R. Knight, Jimmy Fallon and Adam Brody all attened a party following a movie premiere (Music & Lyrics), last month apparently, the cook apparently had Hepatitis.   The party was catered by the Wolfgang Puck's catering company.  They used a cook who had contracted Hepatitis A.  A letter was sent out to the guest of the premiere about a public health hiss that had arisen, meaning come to their attention. It asked if the guest had ate any uncooked food at the event.  This is the kicker, in order to be protected from this strain, they needed to have a gamma globulin shot within 14 days of exposure (Feb 21), the letter did not go out until March 1st. 

 The L A County Dept. of Health did not inform the party sponsors till (Feb 28) according to TMZ when we checked further. According to TMZ, the word could have been out quicker if the health dept would have let them put out  they word but they left it up to the party sponsors. The cook had prepared food at 14 events including the Sports Illustrated party.  If I had been one of the guests, I would be suing right about now.  That was irresponsible of the health dept, and the sponsors should have released a statement to the press.  I have been pressing sources for days, and TMZ came out with the story and I am glad that they kept pressing.  But if I was one of the aforementioned, I would be hopping mad.  I would have my legal team ready, willing and able to sue both, LA County and Sponsors both.

Stevie Wonder is actively being sued by a man who claimed he was fired for questioning Stevie's LA Station about an alleged sexual harassment incident involving the musical icon.  Reginald Thomas Jr., claims that he was fired by Stevie's KJLH in LA, after talking to his boss about allegations about Sexual harrassent, and allegations that employees at the station engaged in money under the table (payola games) to play songs.  He is suing for $3.5 million.      Back to the top..

The gorgeous 25-year-old actress Jessica Biel, who was wearing her trusty Marc Jacobs red-rimmed aviators sunglasses, walks around L.A. with her assistant and snaps back at photographers by taking pictures of her own with a deadly… disposable camera. Vince McMahan and Billionaire Donald Trump got heated.  Donald met Stone Cold Steve Austin the guest referee for the hair match.  This is going to be great,  Umaaga is Vince's champion, and the champion Bobby Lasley is Donald's Champion for the match.  The loser of the match will have their heads shaved.  At the signing of the contract Donald reacted to be poked by Vince with a good push.  The push put Vince on his butt and was a relief to fans  to love to hate him. It happened again, Donald again slapped Vince McMahon, this time a few days before the big day and again Vince went down before the cameras.  The hit was not a great one and looked kinda fake but it might have been the best Donald could do at the time. Donald Trump is facing the prospect of having his famous coif shaved off but he's not afraid, the mogul tells PEOPLE. "It reminds me of when I was in military academy many years ago – my head was shaved, so I guess I'll have to do it a second time," Trump tells PEOPLE. "I think there are a lot of people that would like it very much."

On Sunday night, Trump will host the WWE's "Battle of the Billionaires" with World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon in Detroit. Each man will have a designated wrestler (Bobby Lachley for Trump and "The Samoan Bulldozer" Omaga for McMahon) fight on his behalf. The loser will have his head shaved in front of a live pay-per-view audience and more than 75,000 wrestling fans.  At the end of the battle, both Trump and McMahon will donate their checks to various charities. Simon and Seacrest are at it again.  American Idol has been inundated by the taunts of these two again about who is gayer.   The two started when Ryan sent a barb over to Simon about the front runner Melinda Doolittle's high heels.  Ryan said " Simon do you have any advise for her wearing high heels"  to which the always sharp Simon replied " You should know".  That lead to Ryan saying "Stay out my closet:" and Simon replying to him "Come out!!!"  Ryan finished it of by saying "This is about the top 12, and not your wishes!!!".  I know GLAAD and several other gay and lesbian groups will be calling again.  Besides some other parents groups, but to them all, I say chill out, it happens when you work together, tension!! So let them joke if they want to, I am sure it was all in jest, if not Ryan man, I did not think you had the jokes in you man.       Back to the top..

RADIO PERSONALITY RODNEY BINGENHEIMER HONORED WITH
2,330th STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME
at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard on Friday, March 9, 2007.
Rodney "on-the-'Roq" Bingenheimer, is one of the best known disc jockeys in the world, and has been called "The Prince of Pop." His show on Los Angeles' KROQ-FM has been a hit with youth of all ages since it's inception in late 1976, becoming famous for, among other things, the newest and the best rock music for all of L.A.'s "in-crowd" and forward thinking listeners. Rodney appeared on the Monkees' TV series as a regular guest, and was Davy Jones' stand-in when he was a kid. As a teenager, Rodney grew up with hundreds of rock stars, including: The Monkees, Sonny & Cher, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Byrds, Elvis Presley, and David Bowie (while landing Bowie a record contract with RCA .) Rodney Does a Bowie salute every year on that star's birthday as well as doing a Phil Spector salute on that producer's birthday.
