Motown Records founder Berry Gordy Jr. and the city of Detroit have nixed the development plans of a $28 million Motown Center project that would have brought an interactive museum and entertainment complex to the area. Berry blames it on a lack of funding. Meanwhile, a proposal to rename a street after Stevie Wonder was denied by Detroit's Planning Commission, but a new strategy will be considered at a meeting Dec. 18.

The baby boom has hit Hollywood with so many having kids, adopting kids, it is a plethora of people out there in young-not so young Hollywood thinking that this is the second coming.  I got news for you, it is hard baby.  At least most of the ones who were successful were the ones old enough to handle the responsibility.
Soulja Boy's freshman disc, souljaboy.com, premieres at No. 4 on the latest Billboard 200 albums chart after moving 114,000 copies in its first week of release. Also charting high on the tally was J. Holiday's debut effort, Back of My 'Lac, which rolled in at No. 5 with 105,000 units pushed. Elsewhere, Keyshia Cole's Just Like You fell four spots to No. 6 with 96,000 sold.

Jennifer Lopez, Mark Anthony, click on pic for latest newsJennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony are having twins, and boy is she showing. Jen was awarded an award for rising above and starting a successful business. Last month Jennifer went to the hood, FYE to promote her new album, the Hispanic company Ritmo Latino drops her from their shelves. What is great with the Hot twosome is they are currently on tour together, and just dropped a new movie 'El Cantante'. Which is not doing as well as most thought.  With the Baby on the way and Jen just glowing, you have to think that this might be great for her.  Even though Mark is kind of maniacal but who cares..  What is going on For what else is happening in Feb music.  What is happening now in Music try This Months Issue

Madonna is supposed blasting back to the one and only crazy one EltonElton John John.  She Madonna and Guy Ritchiesupposedly sent him a surprise with a note saying that he has too much time on his hands.   Supposedly she did not send the surprise barb and gift, Madonna's reps say that she doesn't roll like that.  And if she did, it would be something that would hurt.  Don't forget to check on the News with the Artists like Lil Kim who has a new court date in Feb.

Shyne is smarting with his new album sales hitting the skids with a measly 400,000 sales before falling off the chart.  What experts say is that his lack of being around to do events and promos plus the Shyneradio non-play has led to the downfall of this new album, I thought it sucked but that is just my opinion.  Speaking about jail birds and people who might be going back do not forget to check out who is going may be going to jail soon enough (Paris, Lil Kim, Busta and others) check out the latest newsprint to see what's up, and who is doing community service like Naomi Campbell. Or you can see a comedian strip, here is Stacy Morgan stripping.

Bobby Davis Gives us his column and is is red hot with topics from his beautiful mind.  We will give you the best reporting in the field of music and will be updating the music that is fit or not fit to print.  We tell it like it is and will not be silenced.  Freedom of the press and all that stuff.   Sure will be doing Stories along with our staff and we will provide the newest stuff out.
